After Grain Rain, the weather starts to become hot and dry, and there is more rain. I don’t know if you have felt it. The dampness in the spring is hot and humid. People in such an environment will inevitably encounter dampness. When people are more humid, they will feel sleepy, inattentive, and even have no energy.
Since there is so much rain and heavy humidity at this time, removing dampness and strengthening the spleen is the top priority. In the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, it is said that "humidity passes through the spleen." After Grain Rain, it is followed by early summer with dampness, rain, high temperature and humidity. Dampness is a yin evil that easily damages yang energy, and it is easy to have loose stools, diarrhea, fatigue in the limbs, poor appetite and other symptoms. This is "dampness traps the spleen."

Dampness does not refer to a specific substance in the human body, but a general description of the abnormal state of the human body. Dampness, also known as dampness, is one of the six exogenous pathogenic factors in traditional Chinese medicine (wind, cold, heat, dampness, dryness, and fire). Dampness has the pathogenic characteristics of being heavy, sticky, and tending downward. Moreover, dampness is most likely to invade the spleen. The spleen is responsible for transporting and transforming water, and its nature likes dryness and hates dampness. Therefore, exogenous dampness often easily traps the spleen, causing spleen yang to be weak and unable to transport and transform, thus causing water and dampness to be endogenous and accumulate, causing diarrhea, edema, oliguria, etc. Because dampness is a heavy and turbid evil, it is most likely to stagnate in the internal organs and meridians when it invades the human body, blocking the qi mechanism, causing abnormal rise and fall of the internal organs and obstruction of the meridians. If dampness blocks the chest and diaphragm, the qi will not flow smoothly, and the chest will be stuffy; if dampness blocks the middle jiao, the spleen and stomach qi will not rise and fall normally, and the digestion and transportation will be disordered, then the abdomen will be bloated and the appetite will be lost; if dampness stops in the lower jiao, the kidney and bladder qi will not flow smoothly, then the lower abdomen will be bloated and the urination will be difficult.

If you also feel that the dampness is too heavy and you feel uncomfortable, you might as well drink some "herbal tea" to strengthen the spleen and remove dampness, unblock the qi, and sweep away fatigue! This herbal tea is actually a soup made with ginger, which is called "Sea Soul Soup" in the folk.
1. Ginger and Jujube Tea
The sweet red dates are paired with spicy ginger, and the taste is unique. This bowl of soup is also suitable for everyone to drink, especially for those who have dampness and poor complexion. They should drink more. There is also an old saying: three slices of ginger in the morning, no prescription is needed.
Effects:
Removing dampness and strengthening the spleen, protecting the yang and nourishing the skin
Ingredients:
One piece of ginger, 5 red dates, 1 piece of brown sugar
Method
Wash the ginger, we can peel it or not, it depends on your preference.
Put the cut ginger into the pot, add an appropriate amount of water, then add the red dates, cook for 20 minutes, and you can drink it.
When drinking, you can also add a little sugar to improve the taste, which will be very good.
2. Radish ginger soup
If there are children at home, at this time, if the spleen and stomach are not particularly good, or even have indigestion, then you can drink some radish ginger soup, which can help digestion, improve the spleen and stomach, and make people more comfortable.
Effects
Removes moisture, strengthens the spleen and stimulates appetite, and also promotes digestion
Ingredients
Chinese cabbage, radish, ginger
Method
Cut one to two pounds of Chinese cabbage and radish into pieces for later use, three to five slices of ginger, and add 1000 or 2000 ml of water, depending on the number of people drinking.
Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and cook for 10 to 20 minutes, and finally sprinkle in an appropriate amount of salt.
No other ingredients are needed, this can be drunk directly.

3. Lemon ginger water
Ginger can improve metabolism, drive away cold and dampness. Girls who want to maintain health but are afraid of eating spicy food raw can try this ginger lemon water, and it also has a good effect of removing moisture, especially after Grain Rain, you can drink more. It can play a role in driving away cold and dampness.
Effects
Improve metabolism, dispel cold and dampness, improve sallow skin
Ingredients
1 piece of ginger, 1 lemon
Method
Among many ginger soups, my favorite is ginger and jujube tea, because the combination of ginger and jujube can warm the middle and dispel cold, replenish the middle and replenish qi, and improve one's own resistance. Ginger and jujube tea can also be said to be a well-deserved "immortal tea" and "resurrection soup". If your complexion is not good, or if there is heavy moisture in your body, you must drink more.
If you find that your tongue coating is very thick or the tongue is fat, and there are obvious tooth marks on the edge of the tongue, it proves that the dampness in the body is too heavy and should be conditioned in time. If it is accompanied by a dark and yellow complexion, swollen eyelids when you get up in the morning, or obvious eye bags, it also indicates that the dampness in the body is heavy.
Normal stool is a strip with moderate hardness. If the stool is soft, sticky, and unformed, and sticks to the toilet and is not easy to be flushed away, it also indicates that there is dampness in the body and the digestion and absorption function is abnormal.
If you don’t feel hungry when it’s time to eat, you feel bloated in your stomach after eating a little, and there is a faint feeling of nausea during the meal. This phenomenon is also one of the manifestations of weak spleen and stomach function and excessive dampness in the body. This phenomenon is more likely to occur in summer.
If you feel your calf soreness and heaviness after getting up in the morning, or find that you have gained weight recently, showing puffiness, i.e. loose muscles and sagging fat, etc., it may be caused by excessive moisture in the body.
People with heavy moisture often feel chest tightness, want to take a long breath to feel comfortable, feel particularly tired, lazy to move, feel dizzy, easily sleepy, and have memory loss.
